Kids only

Hey, you.…Yes, you!! We’re really excited you’re interested in Camp Young Judaea. Maybe you have a brother, sister, cousin or friend who already attends. Maybe you don't know ANYONE. No matter what, CYJ is a place where you'll make friends, learn some new things and enjoy a great summer. There's always something going on at camp: You'll learn something new about Jewish culture and meet Jewish people from all over the world. You'll get a chance to play all kinds of sports, swim, boat or ski on our cool (and clean!) lake, or make a masterpiece in our Arts & Crafts Studio. You'll be able to broadcast your own radio show, learn a new song or dance, make new, incredible friends, improve your tennis skills, show your talents on stage, shoot a bow and arrow or lead a Shabbat service. And those are just a FEW examples!!

Once you and your parents decide that CYJ is the right place for you, we can help you get ready. For example, before camp starts we can connect you with a pen-pal or email buddy: a camper your age or even a counselor! (Most of them were CYJ campers just like you!) Then, once you get to camp, if you’re in grades 2-4, you’ll be assigned a "big brother" or "big sister" who will make you feel like a part of the CYJ family right away!! Older "new" campers are also welcomed and assisted right away by the kids in their cabin and all staff members.
